Sales Support Executive

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to the success of GCI's Sales Department to join our growing team as a Sales Support Executive at any of our UK offices. Role summary:

The Sales Support Executive will be responsible for providing efficient support to the Sales Team. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to work well as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient service to the Account Managers and customers.

You will be expected to cover Account Managers on leave and ensure that customer renewals are quoted on time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent assistance to the Account Management team by handling the smaller run rate activities and deals as well as assisting with larger deals when required
  • Ensuring that the mailbox is covered when an Account Manager is on leave so that customers do not receive any lapse in service
  • Ensure all renewals are quoted in a timely fashion

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates a passion for sales achievement, setting high standards for self and the team
  • Has experience of developing and evaluating business opportunities with an understanding of financial and busines drivers
  • Has a general knowledge of business principles and practices, an awareness of busines economics and customer markets and knowledge of the public sector operating environment
  • Is results orientates
  • Proactively looks for opportunities to make improvements to enhance team effectiveness
  • Is highly organised and is able to multi-task
